No. No cat = better gas mileage. Less restriction, engine runs more efficiently. Just make sure and you take care of that pesky 2nd O2 sensor.

I am running full 3" exhaust with no cat. The car absolutely loves it (as do I). But I did have to build a "fake" O2 sensor with RadioShack parts.

That's kinda of a tricky question because the faster exhuast goes out the more fresh air comes in, which in turn needs more fuel, possibly resulting in less gas mileage.

I'm still around 20-25 mpg though with intake and exhaust work done.
