It's not as hard to shift without using the clutch as you might think. I used to have an old Chevy 4X4 country beater that would go through clutches like they were made of butter. I got tired of replacing them and just learned how to drive without the clutch. As a matter of fact I would actually shut the truck off when stopped, put it in gear, and just start it to get it rolling. Of course it would not make sense here in Houston traffic, but it worked fine out in the boonies. As long as you can get it rolling, it's not so bad. As stated, you just don't do it at the higher rpms.

... i dont know what "shifting like a real speed racer is"....maybe thats something youve practiced in your own time?WTF but um....if you have issues with my post then how bout you just done read it? some people, believe it or not
, havent heard of every way of shifting there is. the thread was simply started to HELP people by finding new ways to drive. yes, the best way IS to practice...but how can someone practice something they have never heard of? THANK YOU, and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to post on my thread
