1G Wheel Bearing Grease

I am in the process of changing my front wheel bearings, and was wonder what kind of grease people are using. Is there any sort of low friction grease or anything out there that people have had luck with? Thanks for the help.

um NO. you would quickly overheat or chew up a bearing with no grease. bearings are packed in grease prior to installing

in the 1g service manual the section on wheel bearings and required lube is 2-13 to 2-15 for 90 im going to guess the same for the 91 manual.

at advanced auto parts they sell a 1 pound can of gm/japanese grease. its a red sticky grease. force it thru the wheel bearings prior to assembly. i have used this same grease on 3 3000gt vr4's and just did my front wheel bearings with it load up the bearings and it will even out and fill where you missed. also pay attention to the seals you get matching the originals. i just had to play shipping hell with rock auto because there are several styles of seals with the same part numbers

1G and 2G are different. This only applies to 2G.
