Wheel and Tire Weight? Anyone know?

I've looked high and low for the weight of a tire and rim combo (USED) that I'm currently looking for.

A guy I might be buying them from has 18" American Racing Wheels - Vortec, Series 7 with Nitto 555's all around. These weren't the rims and tires I was necessarily looking for but there local and I'm getting a good price. My major concern it how much they are going to weigh.

The wheels are obviously an older model since I took me forever to find a pic of them but here it is - http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelmodels/702

Problem is I can't find the weight of them anywhere. Also I looked up the weight of the tires and a site said "11.26" but not whether that was in lbs or kgs. I think that would be a little light for lbs.


If anyone can find out the weight of the rims and tires I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't know the weight, but you can be sure it's not 11.26lbs, maybe for a 15" but not for a 18", even forged I never saw that weight, the lighter forged wheel I ever saw in 17" is a 5Gram light 57F and it's 12.3lbs and big $$... shooulb be more like 26 lbs...my guest.

I said the tires were listed as 11.26, if the rims were 18" and 11.26 pouds I would not be concerned about the weight anymore. .

I've usually averaged about 40-46 lbs with 18inch rims and tires. My stock 16 inch rim/tire total was right around 45lbs I believe. So figure about 20-23lbs for the wheel and the same for the tire.

11.26 would be in KG to make sense
