I cleaned my TB, carb cleaner did get into the holes. Now the engine has an annoying screaming noise and idle falls until it dies.

Here is a video right after I start up the car, at the end you can see the engine jerks at the lower rpm's. I stop the video because I went to shut it off, but it shut off on its own right after.

I know I need to check the BISS and the ISC, but how do I check these? And is there anything else I need to check?

ANY ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Ahh, I remember the last time I cleaned my throttle body. Right after I cleaned it and started it, a rag got caught in the timing belt:notgood: It sat for awhile while I was fixing it, and when I went to start it the same thing happened to me, only it was a little noisier. Anyway, I finally realized it was because I simply needed to run the carb cleaner and all of that crap out of my system, so I just held it at about 2,000 rpm until it started sounding happy. I'm not saying that that is what it is, but if the only thing you did was clean your throttle body, I would think that you might just have to run it out of the system.

Is your PVC valve hose plugged in? It looks like it's not in the video. After I rebuilt my head and tried to start my car again it made the same exact noise, idled high and slowly died. I had no idea what the problem was until I remembered I forgot to plug that back in. Hope that helps.

That actually worked! But now when it's at idle the car will have a little rumble every now and then, will this get better? Maybe there is still some carb cleaner in the system.

I also still have the annoying scream noise coming from near the TB. Here is a video where the noise is more noticable.

Also, my PCV valve hose is plugged in, those extra things are from the engine swap.

Well, my car ran funny and made a few interesting noises for awhile after that happened to me. My car also sat for a pretty long time with the carb cleaner in there, though. Hopefully it just needs to be ran out of your system. How did you clean your system? What did you take off? If you took off your throttle body, it's possible you have a vacuum leak at one of the gasket mating points, which I suppose could make a whining noise. Make sure everything is hooked up well, and check for vacuum leaks (I like to use a propane torch, and just not use the flame. It's easy to spray and not messy or noisy so you can hear subtle changes in idle tone).
