What's this hole?

I installed a big 16g on my 1996 gs-t, I was looking around and couldn't figure out if this hole on the turbo was a mount or some type of boost source. Leave it or plug it?

Thats where a water line would attach in a stock 1g type configuration. It should be a blind hole, and should be bleeding no boost.
