Ok so i just finished my 2g/6bolt swap project. Mods are in profile. However I now have a slight miss and the engine bogs (not much power). I am clueless, I have V3 but for some reason cannot connect to the ecu.

I have gone over many of things, just cant seem to figure it out? Any ideas?

When i got my 98 with a 6 bolt it still had the first gen fpr. My question to you: did you keep the 2g I/M and fpr? Otherwise, do a compression check and grease the wires.

Have you pulled your plugs or checked for boost leaks?

I am using the 2g head, just a 6 bolt block. I just put new NGK BRP8ES plugs in her. I am going to try new wires 2marow.
A BLT was done, no leaks.

Try dielectric grease on the wires and probe them to check for a bad wire, check the O2's aswell.
