I'm about ready to install my BOV, and I was curious about what works best to seal it to the upper IC pipe. Should I use RTV, or should I make a gasket, or should I make a gasket and use RTV? I believe that just RTV would work but I don't want to do it more than once, so let me know what work best for you guys. I have a Forge BOV, by the way, the flange is the same as 1G.

I'm assuming I'll have to order this from the dealer. Thanks for the advice.

Mike your car looks almost exactly like mine, except you have rims. Looks real clean under the hood.

The orange block is interesting, are you a chevy fan?

i just used rtv and it worked with no leaks......tested it with boost leak tester. just squeeze fair ammount, tighten till you see it pouring out and stop.....wait an hour or two (the longer the better) and just tighten up a bit more. your done. you probably knew that but just in case.

If your somewhat good with a pair of scissors you can buy some cork gasket material from the auto parts store and cut it to fit. My paint is horrible, and my block is RED not orange, yuck :toobad: . Thanks for the compliments
