depends on the amp!

is your amp 2 ohm stable mono amp... then get 4 ohms and wire parallel for a total 2 ohm load.

If not either get 2ohm subs wired in series, or 8 ohms in parallel for a total 4 ohm load, and bridge the amp

i got 2 volfenhag 15's powered by a volfenhage amp on ebay for around $330 the subs are 600 watt rms dual voice coil 2ohm stable with aluminum an cone the amp is 800 watt rms 2 channel 2ohm stable i know its not exactly top end but i hits hard as hell my rearveiw mirror vibrates like 2 inches up and down its almost usless even the side mirrors vibrate in fact i can flip a dime on my sunroof with out turnning it all the way up oh yea and they also make 10's and 12's too
