what to do with catch can line?

So did the taboo speed shop vacuum line delete a couple months ago and the car has been running fine. (1995 eclipse gst)

while I was changing out my fuel filter I found this plastic valve? connected to a hard line on the firewall. this open end used to be connected to my now deleted catch can. I'm wondering what I should do with it? cap it off? let it breath? I don't even know where it leads? any help would be appreciated check the pic below

If by catch can, you mean evap canister then yes you can let it breath. That line goes back to the gas tank but only carries fuel vapor. You may smell gas fumes though.

okay, is it alright to cap with a vacuum cap or could I create excessive vapor pressures? (ie: jb welding cap on.)

DO NOT CAP. you dont want an excessive amount of pressure in your tank, could lead to problems...

No problem, if you want to, you could tuck it between the firewall and sub frame, just so its not dangling in the middle of your engine bay. Or just remove the rubber lines and valve, and just have the metal line open. Whichever one works better for your liking.

I'ved decided on removing the vacuum lines so they wont be dangling in my engine bay. seems line the hard line shouldn't get any debris inside of it.
