What is the best solution for my situation, i have about 2,000 dollars to spend on a new engine for my TSi, cyclone swap? rebuild? I want my car to be fresh for when i start my mods. I was thinking 2.3 liter stroker but thats way out of my budget.

I would jsut get a nice stock rebuild or maybe a little upgrade to the motor. like go with 2g pistons so you will up your compression a little.
