Looks like you just did a t-belt. Did you just do the balance shaft removal too? Maybe the t-belt is too tight? Maybe something is messed up w/ the balance shafts. Maybe the pump gears not primed right and not getting any oil to engine? Im just throwing out some ideas.

yea brian thats my car. I just finished the motor swap. With that i also did the bsek and a timing belt. I personally think it is the gears. I didnt get a new front cover. However my old gears from a DIFFERENT cover looked good. They are the slanted cut ones. The ones that came out of that are the straight ones. when i first started the car it wasnt NEAR that bad. Just gets worse though. I may not have primed the used gears right. What i did was put oil on it. then stuck them in. since it is a used pump ect... possible somethin could be cloged? Oil pressure seems low.

I re-used my oil pump/front cover in my car, but don't know what cut the gears were, either way, shouldn't matter. It's probly not the pump not being primed right then if you
ARE reading oil pres, if low. Maybe the gears are cousing it to spin slower than right, and get jammed up, causing the increasing noise level. But your supposed to pack the oil pump gears w/ grease for a proper prime.

i was told by a friend that you are not suposed to take gears out of one cover and put it into another. Something about they breakin and seal in the first cover and then wont in the a different used cover. Of course i didnt heare about this till after everything was done.

Wish I could help you figure this one out, man, but I'm not exactly familiar with all the intricacies of the 4G63. I just know I got that parts car 93 running and we installed a tBelt on it. Didn't modify it at all, so I have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to different gears with different covers.

Good luck to you, chief.
