I installed my boost gauge but everytime I got and drive I notice my vaccum is getting lower and lower. I open up the hood and see the boost gauge hose is torn from the end all the way to the tip of the fitting that it slides over on. I tore there like 3 times today. How the hell can I fix this without having to cut it off and put it on over and over again?

can you put up a pic of the actualy boost guage line? i think i have a solution but iw anna be sure of the material first

yea its a clear plastic line. I never had a problem with this on my other car. I would get a silicone line but I'm affarid it might get pinched easily.

ok do this its what i did

put a vacuume line on the fitting off the pressure source to the cabin....put the clear line INSIDe the vacuume line liek as far as you can....put a dab of sealant on the end where the line goes in and hook it tot he guage...youll never worry about it breaking again and you still get perfect boost measurement as verified by my profec b

oh yeah your gonna need to get a new t fitting byt he way....its like 3 bucks total for fitting and hose

is it ok to put a vaccum line from the teed area to the firewall and put the nylon hose inside the from there? Or can I use like a foot of vaccum hose and use silicone and then stick the nylon hose?

i personally ran the vacuume line all the way to the guage and cut it liek 4 inches back and stufed as much of that hose in ther ei could to make sure of a good seal....you can try it...but id go ahead and do it right the first time...run that bich to the front
mod it right or mod it twice

Thanks... I'll see what I can do in the morning before I go to work. Maybe I will try it my way first since I dont have enough hose to run it into the compartment. Thanks for the advice.

let me know if it works so i can reccomend that way next time..it is less of a pain in the arse if you dont hae to run the hose all the way up..just make sure to seal the end of the vacuume hose where the clear one goes in
