what suspension should i buy

my tokico struts and springs feel like they're going out. im a student right now living on my own so i dont have a ridiculous amount of money to spend.... but id like soemthing that atleast rides well. im not really out to race ect., but i would like a comfortable ride and maybe an upgrade. the suspension kit i have now lowered my car alot and id like to keep it at the same height (maybe lowered 1.5?) every time i seem to buy something for my car i always end up w the wrong kit so i thought id ask tuners. id really like to stay under 500 so i dont have to save up for a few weeks. (to be honest id rather buy a TV but i dont have much of a choice right now =-P )

in a 2g w a 6bolt motor, 14b td05 turbo, aluminum radiator, 255 walboro, aftermarket afpr, safc, greddy exhaust, intake, some rando aftermarket intercooler kit, and a few other minor mods like pulleys bla bla. like i said im not out to race and beat everyone id just like to have a suspension that isnt bumpy as hell but still lower than factory( preferably under 500$.) any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Will for 500 i don't really know. But a lot of people here seem to like eibach springs with XXX shocks. I was in your situation to. I didn't really want to dish out a lot of money but I wanted a drop car with comfortable ride. I did it right once or do it again so I bought tein basic. Specs in my profile. Yeah it's more then 500 but I never regret it. The con was price. The positive was everything else. Car is use for DD with no track use. Hope you find what your looking for.

i really liked the eibach sport line kit. big drop and comfortable ride. i had them on my OEM struts. it worked well but is hard on the struts i hear. that should keep you right around your price range too. tokico are notorious for leaking. mine leak and one is shot ant there isn't even 15k on them

i had sportline with koni yellows and it rode great, but for $800 you can get a set of d2 coilovers. i have them on my gsx, my conquest, and my girlfriends g35 and they are amazing and have endless adjustment ability.

how do the d2 coilovers ride? stiff, smooth?
I have the eibach pro's and KYB's and hate it, rides worse then a lowered chevy truck.

there 36 way adjustable and have dampening adjustment, not to mention you can pick your spring rate so you can make them however you want. my quest rides nice and smooth, it's no cadillac but comparable to a jeep grand cherokee. well worth the money

I'm not sure that, handling like a Jeep Grand Cherokee is a quality that most people are after when shopping for a suspension set up. I get what your trying to say though. Just busting your chops

^Yeah I guess I should have also stated that my gsx's spring rate is 14k rear/ 12k front and doesn't squat a bit on launch so you could grasp the range of adjust-ability they have.

I would go with the Konis with tein springs
