I have searched for a while, but no clear answer yet.

I have 95-96 2ga ebay PROJECTOR headlights and I am buying the HID kit but I need to know the exact bulb to fit since I believe the 9006 will NOT fit. I checked what the kits including the headlights and hid kit use and they say H1 but I just want to verify. Is it H1 for my low beam projector?

If you already have the projectors wouldnt you just pull the ones in the low beams out to find out, most likely they are H3.

As, far as HID kits, really.. $35 ones work just as well as the $150 ones. No, hid kits are that expensive anymore, and as far as "ebay projectors" go. Some are shit, but some are half decent, if you buy from a good seller that actually look like quality headlamps and not like the ones from China it will work fine. Some sellers even advertise HID compatible. But hey if they dont work out, leave a descriptive and fair feedback for the seller and good reference for any future buyers wanting them.

As, for the OP go for what you want to do. IF it doesnt work out than hey its a lesson learned.

I hadn't even thought of that.. Thanks!

You can get hids from eBay for 35 bucks all day long. All you have to do is search.

I've got 12ks in my talon, 10ks in my doge truck headlighs and fog lights and I have 3ks and 12ks in my 2g eclipse. Not on problem ever. And they have a lifetime warranty.

I'm sorry, but are you kidding? Unfortunately, all you're doing is spreading misinformation with a matter of fact post like that.

Have you ever looked into SharpHIDs products? We installed their plug and play HID kit on our DSM as well as both of our parents cars over two years ago. We paid about $75 per kit (back then) and haven't had a single problem with any of the three kits. SharpHID products come with a lifetime warranty, sell for about $50 per kit currently and they're one of the site's supporting vendors.

HID kits used to go for around $400-500 at shops when they first came out but many years have passed since then and any shop selling them for $200 (installed or not!) currently is overcharging by quite a bit. Just because you're paying more doesn't mean you're getting a better quality product, it could just mean you're over paying. :(

I bought a kit from SharpHID and I have had amazing results, they are great and so far after 2 months of use, they are still going strong

Done, but now the fogs don't match. What do u guys think?

What K did you get for the headlights? Looks like 8000k? The BEST light output would be to get 4300k, which is what your fogs look CLOSE too. Anything over that is just giving you horrible output and the ricer blue tint.

Also, if you want cheap, LIFETIME warranty, awesome HID's check out DDMtuning.com. By FAR the best HID's I've ever seen used. Plus they're only $45 shipped. Lifetime, no-questions-asked warranty as well.

Get some matching hid's?

That was my first thought, but after seeing how bright they are I think a simple halogen bulb replacement should do it.

Anyone know what size fog light bulbs are on a 2ga bumper?

The more I think about your unintentional bashing of my brand new lights, the more I increasingly agree with you.

I'll wait till they burn out and replace with Pure white HID's

ok here is my question like him i got projectors from ebay not the cheap ones jdm i believe and if i remember both bulbs was H1 could be wrong but anyways. when i order the hid kit do i order the H1 kit and will that fit my stock harness because the bulb did convert or order one for a 95 ecl gs but the stock bulbs are 9006/9005 for the simple fact the harness will work but the bulbs wont fit being they will be to big

as long as the harness now is for the H!'s you will be ok.. The way the hid kits work is say you buy the 9006 the plug from the car to the unit is the 9006. So if you have the h1 connections on your car it will plug into the h1 for the hid's...

The bulbs them self are all the same hook up.. its the hook up from the car to the hid ballast that changes...

hope that helped and didnt confuse you even more...

i kinda understand cause the h1 hook up is 2 female plugs negative and positive so the hid will have the same. but these headlights have two wires coming off one bulb as about those four wires run into one plug witch plugs underneath the headlights. so that plug runs into the ballast then from the ballast to the new bulbs right

pm sent.. bro call me

I have those ebay projector ones and honestly, I can't see anything with my headlights on..I have 8000k. But they look super sexy when your looking at them from the front:)

the light rays are all scattered tho:(

I have sharp hids and I have had them for well over 2 years and have never had a problem with them so. I'll be using them again if I ever decide to do my brights or fog lights. I have 6000k. You can use the factory head lamps the glare isn't too terrible. And I have never had anyone flash me. If your goof to go the eBay route there are is a thread on tuners showing how to use the tl/tsx lens for your housing.
