What size are the couplers on the maft side of the injen-style aluminum intake pipes?

I hate to make a thread about this but I'm on my last nerve. I have one of the injen style aluminum intakes, it came with shitty blue couplers and I purchased red couplers from hightempsilicone. I emailed 2 different ebay vendors that sell the intake pipe asking the ID of the couplers and the OD of the biggest end of the intake pipe. Both replied 4.5" , so i purchased a 2.25" coupler for the turbo inlet, and a 4.5" coupler for the maft side, well the 4.5 is way to big. My question is:

What size are the couplers on the maft side of the injen-style aluminum intake pipes?????

I have the same intake and measured mine at 4.5". I'm not sure why yours doesn't fit, but that is the correct size. Perhaps they sent you the wrong size although I haven't heard of anything larger than a 4.5" coupler.

I have the FP 4 inch intake pipe and the couplers they send are 4 inch and attach directly to the MAF.

thats what i'm saying, this is so confusing i'm getting 2 different numbers...4.5 is pretty damn big.

I can't see you needing bigger than a 4 inch coupler to attach the injen intake pipe to the MAF. There is no way that the injen pipe has a larger diameter than the FP 4 inch intake.

Agreed, I have the same FP intake and even 4" is a little to big for the maf.

thats what I was thinking...any idea why 2 vendors and homeboy above said 4.5" ??? maybe measuring from the oval shape? Look at his huge coupler...it is exactly as big as a CD...

X2, what would be the pefect coupler size goin from the Injen intake (oval shape) to the stock MAS, i thought it could be 3."5x4 on the mas size, or 4"x4" but not sure, please let me know. thank you
