what size 17" tire looks best with all stock suspension?

i have some 17s im putting on soon. i need to get some tires, and im wondering what size tire to get with a completely stock suspension setup are going to LOOK the best.

i dont want to really eccentuate the wheel gap by putting a rubber band tire on. do you guys have any suggestions of a size tire to fill up the wheel wells?

if you try to fill in the wheel gap you spedometer is going to be way off. When getting a tire you want it to be just as tall as the stock tire. I think the 1G came with 205/55/16 stock so you would want a 225/45/17. Of course if you wanted to fill in more wheel gap just get a bigger sidewall (225/50/17) but i warned you your spedometer is going to be off

This man speaks the truth. If 205/55/16 was your stock size, 225/45/17 is as close as you can get. Face it dude, without dropping it you'll have wheel gap, not much you can do.

you can try 215/50/17 also. that's what came on the 2G's with 17's (obviously)
