Where would my money best be spent!?
cams?
Intake manifold?

I have another 6bolt block that i was gonna build,

should i just start machine work, and building that motor?

thanks,

- Ben

yes i still do have the stock cams..everything internally is stock in my engine.

any other suggestions?

maybe a water/meth kit?

If i were you I'd get some 280's and an intake manifold..if its more of a race car but from what i hear the water/meth works pretty good but when i goes it can be HORRILBE
Also wieght reduction and aftermarket brakes..so you can actually stop haha

HKS 272's would be a fantastic upgrade. I would stay away from 280's. Not too street friendly and they will kill your bottom end.

LOL believe me. i have some serious weight reduction.

well. I have a 6bolt n/a bolt that i was gonna start building up. just a nice wiseco/1g rod combo or something along the lines of that. then just a set of 272 cams and springs and retainers, prob stock valves or maybe i could find a nice done up head in the classifides?.

but i'm running this motor till i blow it.

a big brake kit would be really nice, but i just don't have that kind of cash. Just like i'd really like to get a set of coilovers but its just not gonna happen right now. I'm 19 and i'm in college. so yeah. the cash flow isn't the greatest

Your gonna run outta injector pretty soon if you turn the boost up. Go big in case you ever wanna run e85. Meth injection is definitely a good upgrade if your getting some knock. I've got the basic $200 devils own kit and it works great.

I would definately got with some 272 cams (Of coarse valve springs/retainers to get the most out of cams) I'd go with kelford or hks. Kelford if your looking for something a bit more agressive. Since you have a lightwheel flywheel also you can remove the balance shaft, it makes sense imo. ;)

well. I was planning to get a bare head and build that up and drop the cams into that bare head. I would deffently go for 272's because this car still needs some useable powerband ha. Oh and for the intake manifold, when i get back to school (go back on the 19th) i'm gonna start designing my own with feature cam and eventually making one for myself.

I'm starting to question which pistons i should use for the n/a 6 bolt. 2g pistons are out because there not forged and i'm not gonna use a non forged piston in a block with no oil squiters. Evo 9 pistons maybe be out because of the gap they have with the top of the block, so i'm questioning that. I could get some wiseco pistons, but there a little expensive for a college student with hardly any income coming in.

Any suggestions?

If it is naturally aspirated I would definately go with the evo pistons Mitsubishi EVO Pistons for the Mitsubishi Eclipse - DSMtuners.com

Seeing as it is non turbo i would up the compression some and these pistons will do it for cheap
thats just my opinion. Forged pistons will definately rum you some big bucks Any other suggestions??

LOL my car is non turbo? did you see the mod list?

i'm using the N/A block.

which is the same as a turbo block minus the oil squiters
