Ok. So I have my first eclipse. It's a GST. And I have about $1400 to start off with on mods and upgrades. So far I have a list of

-Turbo BoV + 2.5" Flange pipe
-New set of radial tires (Needed)
-Stage 3 Mitsubishi Eclipse Performance Chip
-Full Turbo Catback Exhaust System
-Turbo Air Intake
-Electric all in 1 Boost controller
-Triple guage pod with pods (including boost guage)

This is what I have so far on that list and expecting to have about $450 left and want to know what else I should add? Also with what I have on the list should it be ok to turn the boost up to 14psi?

Yes, it is. And she already runs really smooth and I think it's ready for mods, etc.

If you haven't gotten it done allready, timing belt and water pump. New NGK Plugs and Wires, make a boost leak tester, and then check your belts, ball joints, tie rod ends, brakes etc.

Maint before mods and she will treat you well.

Mods before maint, and your begging something to break sooner.

I don't know much about this performance chip you speak of but if u plan do make decent power down the road why not go ahead with link? And I would get also get a fmic. And what do you mean by all in the one controller? A gauge?

The boost controller is the one that would fit right under your single deck radio. And call me a newbie in the newbie forum if you want.. (Not very smart) what is this "link"?

Yes the chip is from ebay and I do have an electric boost controller already on the list.

Link is dsm link. Which is what you would tune with. And also like previously stated make sure all you maintenance is up to par especially the timing belt.

This is just my personal opinion but I don't really trust eBay shit. I feel a lot of the shit on there are very cheaply made and when you want performance and reliability cheap is not better. This is the route I would go when it come to a fmic. I'll be running their 1g kit. Plenty of people on this site can Say that these are good kits.

You will also need a j-pipe with this kit which they sell as well

Edit: for some reason I assumed your car was a 2g. You didn't specify in your post but if it's a 1g they have kits for them as well.

Yes, that is correct I am running a 2g. With this kit everything I would need would be there in the kit beside the J-pipe correct?

Well you have a stock maf. So u would select stock. And u said you gonna be getting an aftermarket bov. So whichever bov you decide to run with you would select that wether its tial or hks or whatnot. You can even use your stock bov

Its an hks knockoff so u would need to select an hks flange when you order. You won't need that flanged pope it comes with bcuz of u get the fmic kit you would just attach this bov to the flange on your intercooler piping

Looks like that's close to my spending limit. Will get to ordering soon. Also how much psi would my stock t25 handle with all this equipment?

Here is my additions to your list.

-Turbo BoV + 2.5" Flange pipe
If it's an Ebay BOV, don't even bother. Unless it's a knockoff Type RS or SSQV, they almost never work. I once bought one with literally zero moving parts inside. It was never meant to work. A crushed 1g BOV can hold 25+ psi. They can be had with the flange for less than $100 so I would suggest going that route.

-New set of radial tires (Needed)
This is good. Good tires are very important for safety as well as performance.

-Stage 3 Mitsubishi Eclipse Performance Chip
Absolutely stay away from these. They raise power by leaning out the A/F ratio and adding timing. It's a recipe for a broken engine and won't gain you crap for performance. Look into DMLink or at least an SAFC.

-Full Turbo Catback Exhaust System
This is good. You might want to look into turbo back exhausts in the future though.

-Turbo Air Intake
A link to this would be nice. Some of these are rather sketchy as well.

-Electric all in 1 Boost controller
In my opinion, this should be one of your last upgrades. But when it comes time, I would suggest a Hallman MBC over 90% of electronic boost controllers. EBC's can be nice so if your really stuck on one, I suggest Greddy Profec A/B or AEM TruBoost.

-Triple guage pod with pods (including boost guage)
What gauges do these come with? I would suggest a boost gauge (any brand will do), an oil pressure gauge (glowshift brand would do), and a wideband. Wideband A/F ratio gauges are easily one of the most important things you can buy for your car. I would suggest looking into the Innovate MTXL as it is reasonably priced and has high remarks from even experienced tuners.

You should also look into fuel upgrades. It's not a matter of how much boost the stock T25 can handle, it's about how much your fuel system can support. With a tuning system, a wideband, and a boost controller you would probably be able to see around 15psi safely. But keep in mind, boost greed is one of the biggest killers of these engines. Running out of fuel or a lack of tuning can destroy your engine quickly.

About stock level LOL, you just can't get real gains off the t25. A hair dryer would be more effective than the t25. Drop the electronic boost controller, and please don't get that eBay chip those do nothing but sucker noobs out of cash, no offense. With the money you save from the ebc get a manual boost controller and a 14b. You were also told incorrectly because you don't need a jpipe with the t25 that's for if you want to upgrade to a 14b or 16g. Trust me when I say you will be much happier with a 14b instead of the electric boost controller.
