^Exactly. I run 93 or 94.

There is 94 around here at Sunoco, but I just don't trust their gas for some reason. So I usually stick with Amoco 93. I heard the best fuel is Chevron's Techron 93. So go to Chevron if you have it. Closest one to me is Va. and I'm not driving 4 hours:p

Why would you run anything less than 1992 octane?
1992 is the highest octane I got avliable to me in my area so it's exactly what I run. Now if I go outa town by about 30 mins I can get 93 octane.

;)

Don't run less than 92 if you can help it. Your car will love you for it.

yo a friend of mine runs c-16 aka 116 oct. at the strip but he lives in cali and it cost a whooping 9.00 a gallon. he runs that only at the strip cuz he usally pushes 28 psi. around the streets he runs the best cali pump gas has to offer which i think is 91 oct. even so it cost him like 2.50 a gallon.

 I would rather pay the extra $1 or $1.50 to fill up on premium then the regular, plus the $1.50 is alot cheaper than a new engine.

i've used xylene before, 1gal in about 4gal of 92. maybe it's the placebo thing... but it felt significantly quicker (perhaps because i also reset the octane value in the ecu? ;))
