I am new at this and was wondering what i should do.My goal is to get to 250 hp and I am about to Purchase an AEM V2 Cold Air Intake for my 96 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS and was thinking about buying GReddy Headers and Greddy Catback exhuast....what do i do after that????

hey man...it's good to try and have dreams of having a 250hp all motor (naturally aspirated) 420a engine! i had the same dreams of atleast 200-220fwhp but, i was quickly broke in and found out that the only way i'll get there is with a turbo kit. one of my buddies even told me, "man you gotta realize all motor pro's are only pushing like 230whp......" if you want 250, you either wanna consider a turbo kit or nitrous! and if you want help on saving some money...just to let you know you don't need brand name external engine parts....try going for an ebay cai w/ k&n filter, and a 4-2-1 header off ebay. most recommend ssautochrome header off ebay...after that you should hit up an af/x underdrive pulley and upgrade your plugs and wires, as for exhaust most of us put our money into a custom catback...2.5" piping, performance cat/test pipe, and a muffler.
an intake, exhaust and header is to release pressure with held...it's just to move air flow a lil better, so you don't really need brand name stuff, hell you could even buy the parts used....as for internals on an engine you def wanna go with brand name! good luck on your eclipse bro! peace

Sorry man, youre just nor going to hit 250 HP all motor with this vehicle. I have the same model and year as do just so you know. Youre either going to need to turbo it, or build that motor up like crazy and run some silly insane levels of Nitrous...

Check out here www.2gnt.com for more info on these cars, and alot of other people have tried but i do not believe anybody has even gotten over 200hp all motor with a 2g n/t yet.
