What kinda gas is everyone using?

I use 93 all of the time no matter what. Sometimes I put sunoco 94 in. My friend uses the same but when he put 87 in just to check out the difference when we raced. He hit fuel cut so bad that he almost went through the window. Thats the only experience I have ever had with octane under 93.

93 octane..... always...

once my dad put mid grade in the thing ran like a pile of shit.... I mean i could honestly tell a diffrence... the higher octane burns better

Another DuPage Co. guy checking in...

93 octane, every time. I figure if I'm going to have to run the watered down crap we get around here, it may as well be the best watered down crap I can get. I cry everytime I drive up to central Canada to visit family and have to fill up on that beaver pee they call gas up there. Xylene and Toluene become my close friends on those trips.

On the occasional weekend or on race days, I'll run 100 unleaded from Clark or Gas City. I've heard rumors that someone locally (up in Schaumburg, since we seem to have a lot of folks from the Chicago suburbs in here) carries 104 unleaded at the pump, but I have yet to actually see it with my own eyes.

Save your money on that octane booster stuff, and just pick up a gallon or two of Xylene or Toluene from your local hardware store (it's in the paint section). When the "octane booster" bottle says that it raises your octane rating "3 points!", they don't mean your 91 octane gas just because 94, they mean it just became 91.3. :p

Around here, it costs just as much to buy a lil bottle of octane boost as it would cost to get a gallon of c16 :thumb:

Theres a lot of Illinois people here. I'm in DeKalb right now at college, but I live in Moline [borders Iowa].

i use 93 Octane from Amoco.

newb question here. Does one need any mods to run 110 octane or can i just put it in? And how much will it help?

Im also stuck with 91 octane here in CA so thats all I use. Very few places around here carry race gas but I just need to find one close by to have some fun.

94 OCTANE HERE IN JERSEY. ONLY SUNOCO CARIIES I THINK , BUT LET ME TELL YOU I WAS GETTING 93 WHEN I BOUGHT CAR TILL I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE 94 AND I FELT A DIFFERENCE FROM 93 -94. SO KNOW ITS 94 EVERYDAY.
