What is this part called on throttle body?

I am trying to research in the forums but I can't remember what the part is called. It is a screw, that is under a cap on the throttle body. I am leaking boost through it like a civ and I know there are forums on how to fix the leak, I just forgot what the screw is for or what it is called. It is on the top of the throttle body on a 2G, don't know about 1G. Thanks for any help you all can provide, greatly appreciated.

And what happens when you have to remove that screw or adjust it for some reason. RTV is a band-aid. It is little things like this that start to add up on cars and give DSM's a bad rep. for always having problems. Because they aren't fixed right in the first place. That tube of RTV probably cost more than the seal itself.

My intake pipe is held onto the throttle body with duct tape, are you saying I give DSMs a bad name


yea thats a bad move on your part plugging your BISS with rtv, try burning it off and getting the seal and screw back in there, because when you start having problems with your idle, you are gonna come and complain to us that your BISS is covered in rtv.



travislaw, dont plug your BISS with rtv. at worst, plug it with a piece of rubber until you get a seal to replace
