Was driving my supra around, when the bolts that hold the plastic piece that protects the engine from rocks and whatnot...decided to snap, resulting in it being dragged under my car for a few miles, while i tried to figure out where the sound was coming from. Pulled over, grabbed a yardstick from the trunk, a few sticks from the side of the road, and a few pieces of pvc, and rammed it all under my car, so that it would stop dragging, until I could get it home and remove it properly. Too bad i forgot, and just left it that way for a few months.

I duct taped my cd player into my DSM when the deck holder fell apart, its since been fixed though.

I had a propel fitness water bottle as a coolant overflow for a few weeks. Worked great.

Lets see here. i installed my downpipe and highflow cat but they wouldnt bolt up to my catback. i put in 1 bolt and left the rest hanging untill i couls buy a catback. after my car got stolen i had to get new ic pipes but the dealer wanted liek $50 each so i went to autozone and grabbed some radiator hoses that i though were close enough shape. still holding up to this day. even my bov has a radiator hose recir. to my intake.

Wow well theres a long list but i guess the best would prolly be the cap to my overflow. I had a fan problem (would randomly not turn on) and overheat. Well the cap started to melt and got a hole in it so I put Duct tape over the hole. Then one day the whole cap and tape melted into one gelatinous blob. So me being a poor college boy living in a dorm I went with the clear plastic cover that goes over microwave dinners with zip ties holding it over the opening. It was a temporary fix 6 months ago. Theres a couple cuts in it now so occasionally antifreeze mist will seep out.
I also fixed my crappy wastegate actuator with a couple snowmobile exhaust springs and a bungie cord. That actually did get fixed tho.

My buddy has been using a Mello Yellow bottle I gave him as an overflow for almost 2 yeaars on his '70 AAR 'Cuda

I also had the clip that holds the wastgate actuator arm to the wastegate door break, so I grabbed a paper clip and wound it in a strange way, but it works great. has been holding for about 6 months.

The driver's side of my rear bumper cover lost all its screws/clips so it was just banging around back there. It got really bad toward the beginning of a 2+ hour trip, so I pulled over to rig it up...unfortunately all I could find was the drawstring for a sweatshirt, so I sort of threaded it in there and tied it up tight...good as new!

And I still haven't taken the string off to fix it properly yet. :D

The other day I did a launch on my way to work, and somehow the BISS screw went and pushed itself out. Huge leak but luckily I had a nickel and some duct tape in my car. Worked Great, just couldn't boost.
Header wrap fixes a broken flex pipe pretty well for 2 months until it has to be done again....can we say bad engine mounts? This was on my older car that I have sold to a friend.
Im sure alot of you are out there with this mod...the wire around the dipstick to keep it from popping out.
My oil cap used to leak pretty bad, I had bought a new gasket but somehow misplaced it. So, alittle RTV in there fixed it pretty good. Still leaks a bit but works for me until I get my lazy ass to the dealer.

I repaired my cracked valvwe cover with bunch of ducktape. Drove it like that for two weeks until I could get another one. I'd also write stuff on it. One day it would say Mitsubishi another day I'dcover that uip and write VTEC on it just to be stupid. I also used the duck tape fix on my intake plenum when it got a hole in it.

I've made my own spark plug wires to liimp home.

I used a brake line to feed oil to my turbo and it was wayyy to long so it was a giant hoop under the engine bay. Ended up selling the car like that and I felt like a shister.

I've used a pair of panty hose for a timing belt on my dsm. jk. :shhh:

You name it, I've done it worst. LOL
