So i was looking at FPR and i saw the areomotive one that i wanted but i dont really know the difference between 6AN and 10AN. Basicly i am goin to have the DSMlink,650 injectors, 255 fuel pump. in the near future i want to upgrade to a 16g and i also have a evo FMI that ill put on when i get the turbo, any help would be greatly appriciated

The -6AN and -10AN are the inputs for fuel line inner diameters. The fitting on the end of stainless steel fuel lines are called AN fittings and are sized according to ID (inner diameter). The larger the AN number, the larger the ID.

I'd recommend getting the -6 model as you will never need the -10 model. But good choice in brand!

Here's some more info on AN sizes:

Might I also suggest getting bigger injectors since you'll be controlling them with DSMlink. If you don't plan on getting a turbo bigger than a 16g, then it might not be as big of a deal. But if at some point you want to go bigger, just buy the injectors once and done. Somewhere around the 1000cc mark should do just fine. The largest I'd run is 1150cc.

thanks for the help guys. and about the injectors, i already bought the 650s, i didnt wnat to go any bigger casue that would make me want to get a bigger turbo, all im lookin to do is get to 350hp. maybe more, and i wanted a nice pull all the way through.

Any reason why you went with the 10's and 8's at first? I was under the impression too large of lines will decrease pressure and/or speed of fuel.

I can't say I've ever heard that. Right now, the only line I have upgraded though is from rail to AFPR. I'm still running stock lines everywhere else.

I went with the -10 unit because I have big goals for the car in the future. I always do mods once and done so I figured I might as well go big. I especially didn't want to go with the -6 unit because I think it'd be counterproductive to run a -8 feed into a -6 AFPR. It just makes more sense to run it into a -10 AFPR. And they were the same price.
