my friend has a integra with some aftermarket gunmetal rims. he has this white circle around the rims. I have seen that on some eclipses that have painted wheels (anyone know what I am talkin about may be the lip) but please help me out here.

i think theres a certain manufacturer out there that has painted lips on their wheels, like white, red, blue, ive seen them in the magazines, that may be what ur talkin about

my car is same color but without the cf hood but I was wondering if there was a way to paint the wheels and get the shiny thing?

but I guess its the lip.

thanks guyz

It's called a polished outer lip. Many different rims have them. If you search the site there are many pics of them. Many people on here agree a dark rim with the polished lip looks excellent.

i dont mean to jack your thread, but your question seems to be answered. I was just wondering what you used to make the side markers smoked.

hi.
thats not my car. Its a car from someone on this board. I was just lookin for a car same color as mine but thanks guys :)

Yea that's Phils car actually. It's just a lip around the rim that instead of painting to match the rim itself the manfacturer themself polished the lip to make it kind of "stand out" and "accent" the rim itself.
