What is my ECU?

I just got an ecu that I ordered today and is the part number on the top starting with MD the actual part number? The mounting brackets are different and it says MD750092 for a part number and I referred to the vfaq (http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ECUs.html) on part #s and its not in there. Any insight? Thanks

That's because MD750092 is a TCU , not an ECU. TCU's are Transmission Control Units for automatic cars. This Part number: MD750092 seems to be a TCU from a 1g dsm turbo automatic AWD, the FWD version is MD750093, i know this because that's what's in my car
