What is detonation, and do I have it?

What exactly is detenation? because when i was shifting from 2 to 3 i had a loss of power for a sec then it sounded like my car wanted to back fire but it did'nt because i let off the gas? After it did that i drove her home and did not drive at wot all the way home! does this sound like anything to anyone? check my mods to see what i have if you want!

My guess is because you are venting to the atmosphere...if that translator is not run through a blow through setup...which means after the blow off valve on the UICP then its because of that. Mine did the same thing all the time and I couldnt stand it. I got my blow through setup and works like a charm

i Have the dejon tool blow thru setup and the mas is after the turbo!
