On my 420a with header, intake and cat-back exhaust, I am planning to install a long rod setup with 10.5 to 1 compression pistons. Also a larger TB nothing huge just the next size larger than stock.

With the above, would you stick with the stock 240cc injectors or go to something in the 400cc range. What I am after is more low end torque, than down the road maybe a small maybe even stock turbo for a little more top end power.

I'm not out for a track car, just want to keep the soccer moms in there suv's from running me down on the uphills.:D

I dont see any reason to up the size of your injectors just yet. When you boost it then you will need them, but for now its should run just fine with stock injectors. But, if you do decide to change them I would suggest getting a fuel pump, AFPR and a tune at your local shop otherwise it wont run right.

Stick with the stock fuel system. Given your rig, gaining power will be about dialing in the optimum amount of fuel -- not throwing in more. You might look into an S-AFC unless you're confident enough to go to a full standalone EMS.

Search for mbullett's threads here. He's (very) successfully been down this path.

Just a heads up. Turbos like lower compression. When I used to race neons, I didn't understand the people thy would go na and build it all up and then they would have to redo the exhaust and compression again. Makes no money sense doing the same thing twice.

Anyways, yes. Stay with stock for now. Get a better air/fuel tune going.

I agree. That's why if I do turbo (and that's a big maybe) it will be very small, 8lbs max and probably a lot less.
