What do you think this will cost

I have a talon and hood was buckled, I was told that the hood latch assembly thing would have to be lifted or something like that because when a hood buckles it means that is was pushed down. So I was wondering if I provided the hood, headlights, and new front bumper. What would I be looking at with getting it all installed. The only item that would need painting and maybe prep work would be the front bumper because the hood is the same color already. So basically to lift the hood latch thing back to where it is supposed to be and to bolt on the hood and headlights and paint and prep the bumper and bolt that on.

have the front bumper painted for like $150... then do everything else yourself... its just bolt on stuff, anyone can do it.

yeah i was thinking that but i would also need the part where the hood latches to the car machined back up since that was pushed down when the hood buckled. and since it would be in the shop anyway they wouldnt charge too much to bolt those things on. Oh wait a minute nevermind it is a shop that is what they do.

when my hood got smashed down, it moved the latch in about 3/4" to 1". i stuck a 1" solid steel rod (approx 24" long) behind the raidator support crossmember, then connected that to a come-a-long (winch) and the other end to a tree. a few hard cranks, and she is straight once again. about an hour of time, but turned out perfect, and the hood closes excellent, and everything lines up once again!

i would try that, but i dont want to end up breaking anything else. Hopefully, since my friend knows a body shop I will be able to get this done cheap.
