What do you think of these LED tail lights

Red out the others? what do you mean by that?

It's like "smoking" them, but your "redding" them out, get it. Gives it a more OEM look, but clearly not when they light up.

They look great with no power, but those circle clusters of LEDs are quite distasteful.

i think they look quite nice when lit up ...

I was reading a magazine a few weeks ago where they explained how to make LED tail lights for a 2g Eclipse. The guy used some old clear lights he had laying around. He used round LED pods where the factory bulbs go. The clear tail lights were fugly but they looked pretty good when lit up at night. I think it would be pretty cool to make them with stock tail lights. Stock look until they light up, then round LEDs shine through. I just wish I knew what mag it was and where I could get the LED pods.

I have been wanting to get these as well and then getting them smoked but I just cant justify spending 170 bucks on something that wont make the dsm go faster.i'll wait til they drop the price.

I personally love these taillights I have them on my GSX right now Im just waiting on my paint to come in and im spraying over the center Tail cause that part is do do but Its going to be the factory Barcelona Red Pearl so it should look good when its done but heres a photo of mine.

I personally love these taillights I have them on my GSX right now Im just waiting on my paint to come in and im spraying over the center Tail cause that part is do do but Its going to be the factory Barcelona Red Pearl so it should look good when its done but heres a photo of mine.

Yea I don't think they're bad at all reminds a little of Midnight club I got something similar to these on there . Just smoke em a bit.

Okay . . . since this thread has been revived once again, I honestly believe that OEM tail lights look the best on our cars. That being said, I actually found some aftermarket tails that aren't 100% bad. I don't like the LED design, don't like the center section, and hate how the inserts look like mercedes logos but I'm kinda digging the clear red lenses. I wish they'd make some like this, with the clear red lenses, but with more OEM looking bulbs and reflectors.

Dunno how it would fit, but you could buy those tails, put them into a backing oven (by low temperature) to seperate the clear outer lense from the case and clue it onto the oem taillights.

I was looking at getting those. Untill I realized they were not true LED tail lights notice the holes for the light bulbs?

I don't really like circle-themed tail lights like that in general, but that particular type is subtle enough that I can dig it.

I actually took the lens off an old tail light because I was going to sand the texture off the inside and polish it out to get the look of clear lenses. The inside wasn't' chrome but silver. Also, the reflector had gaps around it. It obviously wasn't meant to be seen. Now that you mention it nuclearr, they do have bulb holes. I wonder If it's possible to remove the "LED" ring and mercedes logo insert.

Not a fan of them. I would just keep looking. They look like every other crappy aftermarked eclipse taillight if you ask me.

One reason why I love having a Talon, no crappy aftermarket tail lights.

I bet those LEDs burn out in no time.
