Ok now, this might be a little weird but I want to try something new. I have a Megan 3 inch downpipe, thermal muffler and also a cherry bomb glasspack muffler. Now what do you guys think if I custom make an exhaust with those 2 mufflers and megan downpipe with no cat. Is that gonna be bad ass .... Or is it just my mind is going a little off...

Do you guys think it's gonna sound good or what???? I know it's gonna affect the performance a little ,but its just a thought tho...?

^ This..But yes best exhaust is the larger diameter, or none at all.

If you have emmisions, use a cat, then replace with test pipe..

I can imagine it would sound really good. Cherry bombs are great for taking out drone and rasp. Thermal mufflers are also great for our engines. Mix the two together and it should end up pretty deep.

But for performance, less is more. 3" (or larger) straight pipe would be your best bet or at least 3" straight back to the Thermal to make it a bit quieter.

Oval mufflers deaden the sound..Where as round not so much, generally speaking.

There is a reason thermal uses oval, and megan uses round.

Glasspacks sound disgusting IMO. Every time I hear the word "Glasspack" I think of an old truck with a confederate flag on the back window. Just do the thermal muffler. The glasspack wont do anything but slow you down and make it sound weird.

Well, I'm getting a welder sometime next month, so I'm gonna try it just for the hell of it, I think it should sound pretty cool tho.
