What do you guys think of these body kits?

both look like ass, but if i had to pick one i would go with the combat kit. :dsm:

everyone's gonna say the same thing.. keep it stock. Give all those people the finger now if you want a kit-go for it. It's your car, build it how YOU want, not how some of the "true dsm-ers" say to. For the longest time I was planning with the agressor/dragonZ/whatever you wanna call it, since everyone else is all for the drift kit.. but now i'm goin completely different. :shhh:

long story short: my vote goes with the agressor. or whatever they call it (the silver one)

As stated, those kits look like ass. It beats the shit out of the garden edging some of you guys are running but it looks nasty all the same.
I have no issues with altering the look of the car, I'd just want it to look BETTER when I was done. The kits I've seen all look to be done by art school flunkies and really make me appreciate how good the original design is.

i couldnt agree anymore..... but if i had to choose i'd choose the aggressor...

haha, art school flunkies... The original designers were onto something when they designed our cars, and it surely wasnt the drugs that some of these bodykit designers are on.

I think the drift is best suited for the body lines of a 1G... however the drift is not in that list. Out of those 2... i like the white one, but that is on every single kitted 2G.. so id stay away from it. The first one looks like something a kindergartener drew.

I like the drift kit best for 1g's. If you want my opinion of those two.... it's the combat all the way..... by the way..... this really isn't the place to ask bodykit questions. Most people on here say anything besides "stock" is ugly. They believe because they worship the cars original looks, everyone should, and if you don't... your'e wrong. It's childish really, and they'll blab it out if you ask for their opinions or not.

Um, no. Let's just say that some of us have had training and exposure in art and perhaps have a more critical eye when it comes to the half-baked designs you see on many body kits.
If you're happy, cool but the pimple-faced Dragon Ball-Z look just doesn't get it for me. It has nothing to do with reverence toward the original design but everything to do with the aftermarket stuff being ill conceived poop shat out by art school flunkies.

Just like half of the other people on here mentioned, I would choose the Combat Kit out of the one's you listed. The Drift kit looks decent in my opinion, but haven't seen it on a car in person. I personally like the Bomex front more than anything though.

Lol @ how he states this opinion like it's a fact, and not an opinion.

Like I said.... like what they like or your'e wrong. You'll get childish insults like "the pimple faced Dragon Ball-Z look" all the time. I personally could care less what somebody elses car looks like. I tend to keep my negative opinions to myself. You don't see ppl with kits trashing the "stock" look, that seems to be cloned with diff. paint on this board. Sure lots of ppl have the Blitz kit... but twice as many have the 2gb. Get what YOU like, and don't insult others for liking something diff.... It's not like you have to work on, pay for, or drive their cars.

You're not wrong, you do though suffer from bad taste.

It comes with the territiory.

I personally could care less what somebody elses car looks like.

I on the other hand do care. DSM guys are getting younger as the cars depreciate and become more affordable and don't have cash to burn . It genuinely saddens me to see people intent on improving their car falling short and buggering things up.

The O.E. design is superior....Real, actual automotive stylists produced a very solid almost organic design that most aftermarket body work detracts from.
The stock look doesn't appear as though it was drawn by a teenager so it would make sense that most would not "trash" the stock appearance

Sure lots of ppl have the Blitz kit... but twice as many have the 2gb. Get what YOU like, and don't insult others for liking something diff.... It's not like you have to work on, pay for, or drive their cars.

It's as I've said before, body kits are fine if they don't look awful but almost all do.
If you dig the look, cool but I would advise most people to look elsewhere when it comes to vehicle personalization.

the drift kit is really the only kit that looks, good, but the combat isn't bad either.I'm not against body kits, but I agree with alot of people who are against them because they make a ertain point. Most bodykits for our cars just don't flow with the lines of our cars, wether 1ts 1 1g,or a 2 g.

i have the dragon z kit on my 90 gst.. i did do a 92 conversion with the fenders lights and hood tho.. :dsm:
