General What do these extra XDF rows mean in tuner pro?

Ask Me, Virginia
So the guy who sold me the car gave me an XDF file with lots of extra functionality that I am scared to lose.

However, when I use the XDF to alter timing, I notice a few extra rows. Are these rows necessary?

Please let me know in basic terms.

The stock XDF has 12 rows...what is up with the extra 5 rows with the totally different advanced timing?

Below is a copy of this part of the XDF.

Thanks

What's going on w/ that timing map? It really looks f'd to me. I've never seen one that just drops off values on a diagonal line like that. I'd almost think you have a bin/xdf that don't match eachother.

By the way the guys on dsmecu.com could probably help you with this stuff.

Yeah that is strange...more recently I grabbed another Bin from the previous owner that better matches...the timing is very conservative which is ok for now but at least it is not trying to push so much advance at the higher loads.

What do you think about this one?

Any time you load a bin and xdf file, your charts should look like they do in the 2nd one you uploaded. Notice your map values on the left hand side. They are all the same. Now in the second one, they are going up in value.
If you load a bin and some values look jacked up, chances are you have the wrong xdf file.
The xdf file "translates" what has been written into the bin. Hope that helps a little.
Listen to texasturbo. Lots of information over there.

Sorry I didn't notice the additional posts. This thread was moving slowly and I forgot that it existed. As far as the DSM_ECU site. My posts are always moderated and I can never get through so I gave up there.
