What do i need to run 18-20 psi??

I would start with a walbro 255, apex of your choice, wide band, egt gauge, at least 650 injectors, mbc, aftermarket bov, afpr, then of course you will need something to prevent fuel cut. If you have a soceted eprom already you should be able to find a tmo or similar chip on the classifieds.
Befor you go running 18psi i would replace all your gaskets and belts.Do a complete tune up.

Edit: You will also need a fmic. An external wastegate would be nice.

The 550 should do the trick might be running on there limit though.I would go ahead and get 650's or better. They are only a few dollars more if any. As far as the 190 Im not sure I have never owned one so I can not vouch for its limits. But my educated guess would say yes, but dont quote me on that.

I have a datalogger already to watch everything! So if a rewired 190 and 550 are ok, what about the stock sidemount intercooler! Would i be heatsoaking? Or would i have to upgrade to a fronmount?

First off the 190 is perfectly fine. It is rated at close to 400hp, and you wont be near that. Second you dont need a fmic unless you plan on running your car at that constant psi for more then a few minutes. Dont get me wrong you should get a frontmount, but you dont have to have one. And 550's should be plenty. You say you have a logger so check your idc's. that will tell you if you need bigger injectors.

No need for egt gauge. Wideband, SAFC, 255, 550s or bigger, fmic, and maybe a AFPR.
190 will do but 255 is so cheap that its not worth saving a few bucks when u will need it later anyways. fmic because ## sidemount will be heats-oaked. 550s can do 20psi easy.

Again I say^^^^^^^^^^^

Stick with a 190 and get it rewired. I also purchased an AFPR just for insurence. You need to get a S-AFC or DSMLink. Depends on money go Link if you can afford it. Look at what im running and you will know what you basically need. Im running 20.5 PSI daily on an Evo III 16G with no problems what so ever. if you have anymore question keep them coming

I have a rewired 190/550's/SAFC1 and run 20psi all day long on my Evo316g. Any more than that and you'll be maxing out the injectors. But there are issues with using an afc with 650's...search for that. I'm bumping up against fuel cut at any more boost, and I'm close to the edge on my IDC's at 20psi. Upgrade the sidemount (to a larger SM or a FM) if you want to do more than a couple of pulls at a time, cause you will soak the stocker pretty quickly (I use a Dejon Big Sidemount...love it).

If, however, you are going to rebuild and uprgrade everything in the near future, Pitbull's list is a good one to follow. I'd not worry about the external 'gate, though. Not until you have a much bigger turbo.

What turbo are you running now?

How's your rewired 190 doing with the 680's? Any issues? Are you close to running out of pump with that setup?

You'll wanna go to 3in eventually, but i think that 2.5 would be fine for the mentioned setup. No cat? She's gonna be a screamer.LOL

I was running a walbro 190 rewired up until last week. With 1150's I got up to about 38 lbs/min(380 wheel horsies) and it was starting to poop out.

To the O.P. get the 255 and 650's its a few more bucks. I have intalled a 255 on cars without overrunning the regulator, and the maft with be fine with 650's. There is no reason to go smaller IMO.

But the 190 and 550's would get you to the 20 psi range, just remember more fuel means more air.

Also on my brothers gst we were able to run 22 psi on a 100% stock fuel system with a 3/10 race/pump gas mix on a safe tune with dsmlink.
