What could happen??

I have a 97 nt eclipse with 160k, and i have a slight leak on my headgasket... (duh)... i just bought a star stage II turbo kit, fmic, external wastegate, etc, the whole deal.. sadly no boost controler.. could i go ahead and bolt that sucker on or would it do more damage than good??? i plan on doing a rebuild in about 2 months... should i wait? or just say screw it.. what could happen if i bolt it on??? i plan on putting it on tormorrow if you guys say it ok... but im unsure.. what should i do... put it on or wait??

and i dont plan on boostin it up.. just stock settings for now.... or should i buy a bc and lower the boost as much as possible??? HELP!!!

I would just wait, cuz the extra cylinder pressure from the turbo would probly demolish the rest of the head gasket, and might even end up warping your head to the point where even a milling job wont fix it. Do a hg first before running the turbo on the car. In the mean time get a bc of some sort, unless u just want to run whatever presse ur spring in the ext. wg is set for.

what type of hg do u rec? i have some cash floating around so i think i can get one...and i think i can get a bc.. but how do i adjust the bov? i read somthing about that, and i havent dont this b4

BC? what are you talking about? and its "before" not b4.. spend the extra time to type it or dont even post.

so if i get a new Head gasket i should be fine???? i think the wastegate is set on 8, but i dunno, i know its not over 10...
