is there any company that makes stainless steel turboback exhaust pieces? i know thermal makes SS cat-backs but what about hi-flow cat or downpipe? im also trying to decide if i should eliminate the o2 housing or just a better flowing one. what is the benefit of each and if i eliminate it, will there be any issues with the front o2 sensor? what exhaust headers do you recommend? i would prefer SS again but i see that those typically are tubular headers and i hear those are prone to cracking? because i plan on doing the "greyforest hood mod" here soon, i also want to keep the heatshield so that if it rains its not going to be getting on the headers, making them cool faster then they should and crack. is the evo headers pretty much my only choice?

Just about EVERY company offers SS downpipes. www.kteller.com has good prices. The ported EVO 02 housing works well and the new SBR exhaust manifold has a high nickle content so cracking is not likely. Just find a vendor closest to your town and save on shipping! Mark

and as far as compatibility between manufactuers i only need to be concerned about the size flanges on either end? if i get and EVO manifold or the SBR one, is the outlet flange size the same as stock or will i have to specifcy somethin special when i order it?
