What color should i paint my GSX rims

I've always been partial to black wheels on a white car. I think something like what Sandman817 did above would be perfect.

So with a painted wheel, when you go to balance it will there be an issue getting the weights to stick to the paint without worrying about them peeling the paint off? I understand that if the proper prep work is applied that the paint shouldn't budge. Is this just me being worried?

I think you should try Sandman's style with gunmetal instead of the black.

I love bronze wheels! They don't pop as much as gold so i think they look a little more aggressive. Easy to keep clean and look amazing on white!

You can get them balanced on the inside of the rim, I think its called static balancing. they are hidden and you wont see the clips on the outside of your wheels.

So did you end up going with white?? I'd like to see pics if you have because I have a white 99 gsx and am thinking of doing mine white with a polished lip.

I decided to go with the black plastidip like sandman817 posted on page two. They are NOT done just yet, but so far this is what they look like with 2 coats of plastidip aerosol.

Haha it looks like the plastidip has taken flight. I did my wheels with a satin oil rubbed bronze from Krylon spray paint thinking it was satin black, and I gotta say I actually thought it looked better than the black. It looks black in normal light, but when the sun hits it just right, it looks amazing. But glad you finally came up with a color choice. Hope it works out for you!

Go with Gunmetal. If you want to stand out more, paint them bronze. I think it looks sick with a white car.
