I have painted them before but that was awhile back, so im either going to get them powder coated this time or do a few more coats on the caliper with some good high heat stuff. My car is black & i have 17" 5Zigen Bronze FNO1R-C's . So what color do you think i should paint them ?

If your running stock calipers id say black only because I think its extremely ugly when people paint those small calipers with a flashy color but if you have a bigger caliper then id say show them off with some red.

Agree if they are stock just paint them so they don't look like rust, black works.

This one will most likely be merged, I was looking at a similar thread the other day.

Go with silver, or consider it, looks great with a black car. Im thining about the same color as my car for mine, I've already painted the rear drums black to blend in (plan to run disk someday).

ohh i forgot to say i have the 3000gt big brake upgrade with some slotted/drilled rotors. so i wanna show it off. as of right now theyre pretty much the same color as my wheels which looks alright.

ill probably end up doing black or silver. red probably wont end up looking good with bronze, at least i think so.

Red, It's what I did on my car:

see yours looks good, but you have chrome wheels. hands down i would do red if i had chrome wheels.

i on the other hand have bronze wheels. i did paint one of them black to test out how it would look. i really dont like it that much. to "dead" looking. i wanna go for that Subaru STI bronze caliper look.

I painted my calipers black and the brackets a bright almost chrome-like silver.

im still feeling black, and if there is writing on them then accent it with bronze. if you do bronze they kinda blend in with wheels, but then again black will hide a bit, but I think any other colour might add to much to the equation. unless you think that a ton of calipers are red and its a general thing, and it kinda puts more red in along with your taillights

yea ive been riding with the black for 2 days now, still not feeling it, hides to much, now if i had like a SSBC or Wilwood big brake kit id probably do black, because theyre poweder coating makes the calipers bling .

and as for red, still think it would blend with my bronze wheels, probably be ugly. and my car is all murdered out, black tinted headlights/turn signals, & tail lights. only thing that isnt black are my wheels which makes the car look sexy.

im set on Duplicolor engine paint high heat gold. itll look pretty sick. ill get picks when its done

finished painting the calipers, came out looking good in the duplicolor engine gold. ill try and get some pictures of it
