What causes higher voltage on a CAS

You cannot measure the idle voltage of the CAS with a meter...the output is a 'pulse'. So if you are trying to verify your CAS operation, there are other methods. But measuring the output voltage it while your engine is running is not a perfect way. That said, your measurement value 'seems' reasonable... Also when your CAS is starting to fail (or failed) you would get a CEL and your voltage you measure would be zero or close to it...

Hmm thats interesting. My car jerks really hard at low rpm and Im trying to solve my issue.
I checked my CAS according to CHILTON and matched it to THIS post 35.
"Even though the voltage signal pulses, the voltmeter will pick up the average".

Im kind of confused where else to look. Did you ever run into any issues like this?
