I was thinking of putting cams in my car and was wondering what u think r good and about how much they cost. I'm wanting a little more performance and was wondering if i do this mod about how much do u think it will help me

Its going to depend on what your doing...

If you pick Crane, and are going turbo....Crane 0014 cams are really good.
If you want to be NA, Crane 0016 or 0018 are good. 18 being more hardcore.

If you just want a good cam, the Crane 0012 are your basic street cam. I've heard it said that the 0012 is the cam that car makers should have put into the cars in production.

well im wanting like a street/strip cam so is the crane 0016 a street/strip cam

The 16 is a good cam. you will want new valve springs, but you shouldn't need new retainers. I've heard people say this is rediculous, but Scott Mohler (worlds fastest neon) is running stock retainers, and he runs 7s..... need I say more :thumb:

I got mine from ModernPerformance.com

MPX Rocks. I have ordered almost all my parts from them. Shipping is fast, service is informative and helpful. I don't remember how much I paid, because I ordered $2000 worth of stuff at one time. I don't know exactly how much the cams cost. Just call them.
