Work has been dead for the past couple of weeks so all I do is play this game.

Shit ide be that far along if i could play ps2 at work, where do you work toys r us or a guard shack or something. At least i can get online at work. I dont get b-spec mode either how do you win in it i tried once with a car that was much faster then the rest of the feild and i lost???

What I do for B-Spec mode is use a car that overpowers and out handles every other car in the race. Make sure that you set the pace to at least "fast" and you must have "over take" selected. Otherwise the computer will not pass other cars unless it absolutely has to. Also, if it's a short one or two lap race and your car isn't that much faster than the rest, it may be difficult to win in B-Spec mode. The computer is very polite when it comes to passing and it takes it's sweet time waiting for the right spot. Also, if you set the pace to "push" the computer has a tendancy to run into walls, lose control, and drive like an idiot.

If you're doing longer races in B-Spec mode, use harder tires and set the pace to 3 or 4. The computer does a pretty good job at controlling the car with crappy tires. That way you can go longer than the other cars before you need to pit and you can take the lead that way if need be.

You can also turn on time compression which is a cool feature (of course that won't help you win, but it's just cool!). You can turn a 1 hour race into 20 minutes. Another cool feature about B-Spec (or A-Spec) is that when you pit, you can change modes. So if you want to drive for a while, pit in and switch to A-Spec.

I'm only 26% done, but I've only had the game since saturday. If i didnt have so much school I'd be done.

38.5% complete. All Beginner races done, all Special Condition events done(damn that last Tsukuba wet race was hard), all but the last Professional championship done(any suggestions? dont have a fast enough car), and a lot of others.

31.7% after last nigh. I love b-spec mode. I love drving, but man some of the courses like Hong Kong, I just can't stand. I have a fast enough car, I just hate that course. So I let the computer pummle the competition

Ya I'm having a tough time on that race also.

I use B-spec for silly races like "world compact cup" or the "europe classics" or "japanese 70's races"

I don't care about driving those cars so I b-spec it.

Dude, the 70s race was awesome. I have the replays saved.

I have won one of them at this point, the last race of the 10. I used the damn Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trial car, the only car I have that could keep up. I don't know though, if it will be able to keep up for 10 and 20 laps, it's not the best on tires.

For a lot of the other races I used B-spec, most of the little 3 lappers. I just did the Japanese Compact Cup with the Lancer 1600 GSR('70 something) manually and it was pretty fun, the car has a stage 3 turbo and is stock otherwise, but real fun to drive.

I'm gonna post a new thread here about some special edition race cars that are only available at a certain point in the game(for purchase).

9.9

Maybe if I didn't keep clearing my races & racing them again to get price cars to sell I'd be futher in the game. Lord knows I logged the hours on it. It's all I've been doing these past two weeks.

I'll have to say I like b-spec now LOL cause there's now way I want to sit there for the long races. You could also race awhile get bored then pit and switch to b-spec thats cool.

Im at 43% now :D

I wanna give some of u a tip. when u r racing in b spec mode, if u go to the race monitor, you can speed up the time times 3. So a 24 hour race takes about 8 hours ( i know this b/c i did one). The only pain in the ass is that evrytime the cpu pits in, you have to go back to the race monitor screen and speed the time back up. But it still saves ALOT of time :thumb:

I'm at about 42%. I b-spec'd a 24 hour race so I could switch. Throughout the day I raced and let the CPU race.
