What are the symptoms of a bad Cruise Servo Unit?

Most of the time if they go bad they start to slowly lose speed. You will have the cruise on and it will drop a MPH every so often. Sometime's it just won't engage at all.

That happened to me (the slowly losing speed symptom) and Mitsubishi diagnosed it as a simple vacuum hose leak.
