What are the benefits of prothane motor mounts on awd?

its not stock. i only put oem (advance auto parts) on the side motor mount and tranny mount. kept the rear and front motor mounts prothane..

That's where it's at! Less engine rocking, less clutch chatter, minimal vibration.
 
I would highly recomend getting better mounts, I have first hand experience with this accually..... I just used the stock, worn out, mounts when i put my new motor in, and it was terrible, ( only putting out maybe around 290hp on a 14b@19psi).... I couldnt grab second gear for shit at the track, but did fine for street driving so i left it for awhile ....
Now im making around 380hp ( ecmlink est.) on a 16g@ 24psi, and shifting was not fun to say the least.....so i put some prothanes on the sides (tranny& engine) and left the stock front and rear on just to see how it felt... Not much different, still grinded second at 6k+rpm, but the engine felt much more responsive and solid while shifting and accelerating around corners , that was a + .... so I then bought a Torque Solution front motor mount, F**ing love it....First try on a launch, spinning all four wheels, grabbed second at 7500rpm no problem, I lowered my shift times by a half second... which is alot when drag racing.... the front mount was probably the best thing I did for my drivetrain, especially when using a solid 6puck clutch....
 
You obviously all have stock dampers becasue my suspension is so hard whats a little engine vibration? Its only going to get stiffer with sway bars too :)

If you wanna go fast you want things light and stiff motor mounts are no exception in my eyes
