Welding 2g exhaust manifold

I just bought a 2g exhuast manifold for my 90 GSX. It has a hairline crack going across one of the runners. I was told to just go to a shop and get it done. Will this be ok. I would do this myself, but i haven't welded much and i would rather just pay a little more for the pro's to do it. I got the manifold for $50 so it wasn't a huge investment. I just want to port and polish it, i'm doing that myself and am following the one on vfaq.com. Thanks

From all the manifolds I've seen welding cracks works for a little while. Usually the welds burn off though.

The 2G manifold is cast steel. It can easily be braised to. Take it in have it welded, shouldnt cost more then 10-15$.
