Do I weld the flange straight to the bov or is it suppose to fit inside of it?Also would it be better to tig or stick weld it?

Weld the Flange to the UICP then bolt the BOV to the flange.

I got a stock UICP.But is the uni flange suppose to fit in the inside of the bov or not
