Weird Idle??

So heres the thing, 2 days ago my car seemed as though it was losing power... my idle was always good (about 750) now it wants to be up to 1200 for a min then go down to 800. The thing is when i turn on the headlights it goes down immediately to 700 and slowly down to 580 or so.. i thought it was my plugs & wires so i changed them and took it for a drive.. same thing still and it died on me once.My safc reads the battery volts at 14.3 when i turn the headlights it goes down to 13.X

battery? Also check your alternator fuse.

na it wasnt the battery nor alternator, turns out the problem just went away some how? it recently just got freezing cold the day it started so my guess is the ecu needed to get use to the climate.

Possibly your car was running rich? My car used to run really rich at idle and it would fluctuate and feel like it was on the verge of turning off!

My car is doing this right now. When it goes down and feels like it is about to stall and vac goes from normal 17 hg to about 13... I think mine is a boost leak issue (too cold in Ohio!). Did you check for leaks yet?

Yea, i installed a FMIC about 2 days after the weird idle started happening.I ran a boost leak test, logger, checked vacuum lines, etc.. and couldnt find a problem. i even took it to a mechanic and he said "theres definetly somthing wrong" yet.. he couldnt find it

but anyways like i said, the idle problem went away after a week so i guess its just 1 of those DSM problems i live in texas so its NOT often it gets cold around here
