I got a 91 tsi awd which I'm having a weird wot/ idle issue basically what's happening is if I get on it threw a gear at wot and go to an idle the rpms stay normal (1000) but is real rough, almost sounds like a Subaru sadly to say but then if I drive the car down the highway or anything where its in low boost for a while the car will go back to idling fine. Some one please guide me in the right direction. Thanks guys

Check spark plugs wires and make sure there in the right connectors on the coil pack. Check the spark plugs too sence you look stock in your profile ether ngk bpr6es or ngk bpr7es gaped to .028. Let me now if that does anything to start out with. Pic below of firing order for 1g dsm. Next few things to check if you have just basic maintnace things like change fuel filter and look into checking your timing is correct and no real bad oil leaks around the timing location. Also big thing is do a boost leak test never hurts to make sure your piping and what not has no air leaks in it. There tons info around and youtube I am sure you know what to do. ;) I just wanna make sure your car is running top notch for u. :D

I have on the plug coils which are brand new so I'm almost positive those aren't the issue but funny you say a oil leak ....I had one just pop up out of nowhere tore into it and had a crank seal leak and a balance shaft seal leak so I replaced both seals this week....timing is perfect though

To the coil on plug setup part, my buddy Adams brand new coil on plug setup is having issues when you go modding something that isn't the stock way you could run into issues try running normal wires if you have the avaliblity and see if it changes it or not. And a blt is perfect to do even just random I had a small boost leak and it caused my 95 to idle poor not like a Subbie but it idled funny and ended up having a coupler split and a cracked manifold LOL.
