Weird idle? do i have diff cams

Ok, I would start my car and it would almost die then the rpms would go back up to like 900-950 but it would fluctuate like it had aftermarket cams. It runs like a charm and i can boost 15psi all day without a problem, my timing is 10 -12 degrees in advance so i dont know if that has something to do with it but i was just curious.

Thanks for that info but I never have high idle other than in winter.

An easy way to rule that out is take the VC off and have a look. Ingenious I know.
