Weird Electrical Issues...?

The other night I was driving home and out of no where my speakers and stereo shut off, followed by my gauges in the dash failing and not reading mph or rpms, and then my headlights dim to nothing and then the car stalls out and it wouldnt start... I left it sit there while i waited for help to come, after 10 minutes when my friends arrived to help, the car started just fine and everything worked...? Obviously the first thing I thought of was battery or alternator, well the battery holds a solid 12.62 volts, and I just had the alternator tested, and the machine was ran 3 times, and all 3 times it passed. The only other thing I can come up with would be bad wiring or a ground somewhere, but I ended up driving the car home perfectly fine..? Anybody have any ideas to test further or conclusions...? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Your alternator could be on it's way out but usually the brake and battery lights would be on while you're driving normally. The tach and speedo going out is a telltale sign that the battery is losing power and the charging system is not working.

Start with the fuses to include the 100 amp charging fuse that you have to annoyingly unbolt. Check the wiring at the fusebox, all your grounds (engine/battery/etc) and visually inspect the alternator secondary connector to make sure the wires are not frayed and/or touching.

Verify good belt tension too on the alternator.
